What a Day, Wednesday we founf a school of great sized fish and stayed with them all day. 36 came to the box and a very happy crew from the Kittaning are went home with a cooler full of great fillets. Thursday turned out to be the same for a half day trip. Bagley Bango's and Reef Runners were the top producers at 100-85 feet back on the boards. We were fishing in 27-40 FOW off of Trout Run. Friday the bite slowed and we were only able to net 6 fish on a long hard day. We even tried some perch and found them not to be very amicable to our offerings. Saturday we fish the tournament with the Erie sports Fishing Association and drew only a 2 fish box. After seeing that only 4 out of 35 boats managed to put a limit of 9 fish on the board, it maid our dau look a little better, just glad I didn't have a booking and would have had to subject them to a long day of not catching many fish. Sunday the wind turned around and starting a blow at 5;30 in the morning, we got a report from the lake and there were already 2-3's and the wind was expected to keep pushing up 14 mph by 11:00 am We cancelled our trip and will try to rebook in the near future.
