[ Lake Erie & Tributaries Fishing Report ]

WALLEYE:

Eleven year old Alyssa Theodore of Raccoon Township brought in a 7 pound 14 ¾ ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 28 inches long and had a girth of 17 inches. She caught it out in 74 ft of water off Elk Creek using a Thunder stick. The color was Black/Cooper.

John Sheptak of Butler PA brought in a 10 pound ½ ounce Walleye. It was 29 ¾ inches and a girth of 18 inches. He caught it out in 75 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on a worm harness. His color was Blue/Gold.

Eleven year old Jacob Gates of Milesburg, PA brought in his 7 pound 9 ½ ounce Walleye for Angler Award. It was 28 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 17 ¾ inches. He caught it on a worm harness. Color was Watermelon.

Walleye have been really good this year. Most are being caught out in the south side of the First Trench.

PERCH:

Eight year old Justine Kuno of Findley Lake, NY came in for her Angler Award for a 13 ounce Perch. It was 11 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 8 inches. She caught it out in 60 ft of water straight out of Walnut Creek on an Emerald Shiner.

Perch are being caught straight out in 50 - 60 ft of water off Walnut Creek and also off Godfrey Run.
