BROWN TROUT:

Twelve year old Austin Greathouse of Butler, PA brought in this 5 pound 9 ½ ounce Brown Trout for Angler Award. It was a male and he was 22 ¾ inches long and had a girth of 13 ¼ inches. He was caught on a Cleo off the North wall in Walnut Creek. The color was silver and blue.

STEELHEAD:

The creeks are low and clear as of today, Saturday, October 13. We were supposed to get some rain but it missed us. We got a few sprinkles yesterday but not enough for the fish to come in. The weather is cold enough for them to come in but with no water there is not enough to entice them to come in. Earlier this week a couple boats said they did pick up a couple in the mouth so they are starting to come in from the trenches. The next time we have a couple days of rain we should have a decent run.

WALLEYE and PERCH:

These fish seem to be going to some other section of the lake because they can’t seem to be found. I have heard some good reports of Perch off of Conneaut. The Walleye don’t seem so easy to locate. I had a boat get some out in the first trench close to the Ohio line. That is the only report I can give you on these fish.

We have a Tentative Date and Time of November 8 at 2 PM for the marina to open for fishing. It is tentative because the docks are new and maintenance doesn't know how long it will take to get them out. Also, they have to wait till the weather permits and also when they all could get together as a crew.

The boats are to be out by October 28 and there is no fishing until the docks are out.
Therefore, we set the
Tentative
Time and Date as November 8th at 2 PM.
