WALNUT CREEK:

With the rain that we had the creek is running pretty good. It is not high and swift though. It is a brown color and so is the marina. It should be pretty good fishing for the weekend if we don't get too much more rain. I was told that it was great fishing in the marina yesterday (Thursday).

STEEL HEAD:

Mark Hammel from Mars PA brought in a steel head. It was a nice one caught with maggots on mini foo. Mark and his buddy are here a lot and they really brighten up my day with their antics. They should be comedians.

I was looking out the window and got this shot of Taku Okumura of Pittsburgh bringing in this nice one.

He had three on a stringer when he left and I got this shot of him. I see him here every day I am here. He says he loves to fish. He had three on within an hour and a half that I was watching him. He caught them on a white jig.

WEATHER:

SAT: N/15-25k/5-7ft.
SUN: SW/20-25k/5-8 ft.
MON: W/30k/7-10 ft.

OFFICE HOURS:
The building will be open only on, Saturday, and Sundays from 7:00 till 5:30. Then on next Friday from 7:00 till 5:30. Then the building will be closed until April 15th 2005.

NEW LICENSE INCREASE:

Because of the new pricing, no more 2004 licenses will be sold.

If you were born in 1939 or before you are eligible for a lifetime license and you might want to get it now. Licenses for 2005 will not be on sale until January 1, 2005. You can get the lifetime licenses at the Court House and the other licenses can be found after January 1 in any store that sells licenses, ie....sport stores, department stores, bait stores etc... We will not be open from December 17, until April 15, 2005, so you can't get them here we open in the spring.
