The perch are starting to show. A boater (Junkman) came in with a limit of perch on Thursday. So did a few others.

One boater came in with 11 walleye. He was one shy of his limit with three persons on board but they had to come in. He also limited on perch. Nice size to the perch with an average of 11 inches. A lot of them are 13 inches. The walleye he caught were nice size ones too. From 20 inches to 28 inches.

Perch: are out in 30' of water out a little east of Trout Run.

Walleye: are in 35 - 40' of water. Caught trolling with worm harnesses from Trout Run down to Elk Creek.

Bass: I heard that Shades Beach and the east side are doing pretty good. Earlier this season some were being caught 2 miles east and some were 2 miles west of Walnut Creek. They seem to be slowing down on the west side lately.

WARNING: On the south side of the launch ramp please be careful. There the ground is hollowed from a beaver. They are putting up a sign to warn people of this so please watch your children and pets so they don't go near it.
