STEEL HEAD:
I have had a lot of nice size fish come in for an angler award or citation as some call it. I also weighted a few Coho Salmon and a couple Brown trout. The boats trolling in front seem to be doing pretty well too. They are all the way up in the streams now.

PERCH:
Perch are being caught in the Bay off the North and South Piers along the Erie Channel. Because of the lake conditions, not many boats are able to go out for these fish lately. I have had one gentleman tell me that he was getting them off the light house though.

The marina basin will be open for fishing the earliest being Friday, October 31, at 4:00 P.M. TENTATIVELY. If the docks are still in, the marina will NOT be open. Just remember, you can't fish in the marina until FRIDAY, at 4:00. That is why we always specify a date and time. (See regulations. §53.12a)

We are having a problem with littering here so PLEASE bring a bag with you to put your garbage in. There are four dumpsters and six big garbage cans placed around the property. Please use them for the garbage. And also, PLEASE use the porta-johns for their purpose not as a garbage can. Make it fun for everyone.
