Fished Walnut Creek today from sunup to sundown. It rained all day, heavy at times which helped to cloud the water up a little. Caught many fish in the 8lb to 10lb range. also caught quite a few Coho. We fished the fast water and the fished moved through regularly. The water is very low and mostly clear so light tippet is necessary. Various nymph patterns worked well as well as pink sucker spawns and any dark color wooley buggers. The weekdays seem to be the best time to fish as the crowds were very small today. Saw many anglers leaving early as the didn't bring their raingear. The rain also made for smaller crowds.
