The morning began with light south west winds and slow fishing for walleye. Fished same area as Friday. Action was slow all over. Wind slowly turned west and increased. Mid day found a silver bullet dancing all over. Acted like a steelie but turned out to be an angler award brown trout of 8 pounds. The brownie took a black worm harness near the bottom. Many perch were caught at the 53 foot depth. Just north of the area most perch boats have been working between walnut and trout run all week. |
