Hello - Things exploded this weekend and we have had our best fishing of yet. Things are really happening right now and the sooner you can come in the better. I want to put you on fish and now is the right time. After catching our limits yesterday, we caught and released for 3 hours. Fished Orleans Park and Bluegrass Island - Bleugrass was better. We also caught an 8 - pounder yesterday. Think about the weekdays, in my opinion, that would be ideal - less fishing pressure, better access to excellent spots, etc. If not, weekends are great too. Timing is essential and 7 days can make a big difference at the number of fish in the river. I would say that things will peak in about 5-10 days with males and females being in the river. Then males stay in the river for about another 3 weeks after that and can provide fast action - maybe along with some white bass around middle of May. Best Regards, Jason Arbinger www.homeruncharters.com
