Our a portion of group fished the westernmost edge of Bluegrass Island yesterday with fishing being pretty darn good. Fished during the middle of the day. In two hours we had 3/4 of our limit with the biggest being a 26"er, probably went 7+ lbs. If we would've stayed longer, limits were a guarantee. The condition of the river is good to very good although there is a cold front expected to move in by Friday. Don't worry though, there is still lots of good fishing left for us. Chartreuse heads with white tails were working at the tail end of a nice pool. Its great to feel the tick, tick, tick, slow pull that is a walleye sucking in your presentation.
