Lake Erie Fishing Report: February 10, 2003 Ice fishing has been spotty for anglers seeking walleye and yellow perch;
however, some limits have been reported. Most of the effort is concentrated
around the Bass Islands and 3 to 4 miles out of Catawba State Park. Some
anglers have reported catching crappie in local marinas. Walleye catches
tend to improve towards late afternoon. Open water has been reported in
Sandusky Bay, near Green Island and between Catawba Island and South Bass
Island.
