Walleye
Where: Trolling anglers are catching fish around the Bass Islands and around Kelleys Island. Anglers jigging are still catching fish on the reefs of the Camp Perry firing range and in Maumee Bay.
How: Anglers trolling have caught fish using deep diving crankbaits such as Rapala deep husky jerks and Reef Runners, and are also catching fish with worm harnesses using inline weights or bottom bouncers. Hair jigs tipped with emerald shiners are the most popular jigging lures.

Smallmouth Bass
Where: Are being caught around island shorelines in less than 20 feet of water. How: Try using tube jigs, crankbaits or jerkbaits.

Largemouth bass
Where: Are being caught in harbors and bays in the western basin. How: Use crankbaits, spinner baits and soft plastics.

The Lake Erie water temperature is 57 off Toledo and 49 off Cleveland according to the nearshore marine forecast.
