Well the walleye are still doing well as long as the weather hangs in there. The best place to catch the eyes are just south of the line and east of Middle Sister. Both the trollers and drifters are doing well in that area. Also the rocks are still holding some nice eyes, but the sheep head are still active so bring a lot of bait.
The great news is that the perch are doing very well around the island area. I personally caught a boat limit of nice perch in less than 2 hours on Sunday , just west of South Bass Island. The same areas are producing perch this early in the season. The bad thing is the bait is a bit larger than normal for this time of year, so you might have to cut your bait for the perch. We didn’t cut the bait , but we could have use them for bass bait. The bait shops still have a good supply of bait in stock.
We still have some great dates open for both walleye and perch for the rest of the season. Just contact us through our web at www.lakeeriefishing911,com.
Good fishin
