I just wanted to update you on the ice condition on the western section of the lake and bays. Due to the record warm temps that we had last week the lake and rivers are open and muddy. The forcast for the next 10 days are good and it should start the lake with a ice coating. I predict the first of next month we should already be fishing the bay and then start fishing the main part of the lake.

Last year we started around early February and had around three weeks of great fishing. I am currently ready to run as soon as we have the ice. We will be running from Catawba to Crane Creek, based on the fishing. If interested fishing you can contact me on my web site or at www.mrbass@lakererie911.com., I'll be fishing everyday possible and I have a 1-2 man operation available everyday that I go out.

The fishing outlook is even better than last year, with record populations of three great walleye hatches. I will continue to update you on the ice conditions thru this report and our fishing report on our web site. The water temp in the western basin is in the low 30's.

good fishin
