: As we are almost into 2001, I am writing to ask those fly fishermen around Cleveland what the best streams are to fly fish for Steelheads around Westlake and Cleveland, and what months seem to be the best time of year? Really anxious to go in March or April if possible. Also would welcome suggestions as to the best flies to use under different conditions. Thanks. : Lee Earlie this year fly fisherman, did real weel , in euclid creek , off of Neff road , using black wooly buggers,I personaly did well with Black and purple bead head wolly buggers, Sometimes , they wnated largers flies , Icaught them up to a size 2 wooly bugger , and down to a size 8 wooly buggers, When the water is warm try sucker spawns , matched with a dropper fly, I lke to use a number 14 calico nymph ,m under a indicator ,you wnat your bait to tick the bottom so you must experiment with different weight sizes , I did very well wiht these tatics at euclid creek early this year I hope iwas of osme assistanece-John
