Ed,

I have found a great map at a fly shop in Columbus, Ohio called Mad River Outfitters. Their web address is www.madriveroutfitters.com. They do take orders over the phone. Just let them know that you want the $10.00 map that shows access points to the Grand. The map also has great descriptions of each access point as far as accessability, parking and what you might find.

A good spot that I have been to is the Kiwanis Park off of E. Main street in Painesville. There's some good spots just north of the park area and it's not to bad if you want to walk even further north where it's much less crowded. www.mapquest.com has a good map of that area. I've seen people spin and fly fish there.

I hope that helps. Good luck.

: I am going to try and fish the Grand River October 20, but being from out of state, am having trouble finding someone who can give me some good access points for wading and bank fishing. I will use my fly rod, my 5-year old will spin fish, so I need both. If you have any resources to recommend or access points to try, let me know!

: I am flexible, can go from the mouth of the river on down....
